It's a teaching position still (which is what I want! I love my career..), however, it's not around here. It's not even nearby. It's actually not even in this state......... or region..... or continent.. !!! =D
So, needless to say, it's a game changer. I just want what God wants, and I'm willing to accept whatever it is He wills.. but I would be lying if I didn't say I am really hoping for this wild opportunity to be used! I would appreciate it, if you- the reader- would say a prayer for me. I was told that a decision would be made close to the first week of April... deep breath & sigh.. :)
I know you want more info about.. where. (And if you are a facebook follower you may already know and my whole "suspense" jive was absolutely for nothing.. :p)
But here's a clue:
Oh yeah baby
See what I mean... THAT, is hard to wait on..

Would this be mission work or ESL type of thing. Praying for God's will and your acceptance of that will. "_
I've not been following your blog, but today's entry sounds very intriguing!!!! Looks like you may be headed to a very small island to live! What about all those foster kids? Do you get to take 'em with you???? Hmmmmm....if only! LOL May God grant you the position only IF it is truly His will. And, if it is NOT His will, may He give you the peace to accept that and continue ministering to the precious children that need you so much!!! God bless!
This makes me sad. :( But....happy for you! You have so much to offer no matter what you do! I definitely want the best for you and pray that God will grant you the desires of your heart! Just remember us little people, when you head out! :)
Hey michael I'm sure it's tough waiting when it looks like such a beautiful place.hang in there we will be praying for you.
Kimberly Kovach sent me to your blog. I didn't know you had so many options and decisions to make.
Hey- it's.. like mission work. I will get pay, although it's minimal.. and the cost of living is actually kind of high, so... it isn't all "sunshine and daisies"! :)
No, wouldn't be bringing my foster children with me of course, although I could bring my teenager. And.. he wants to go but I'm encouraging him to stay here since he just got accepted into college at USC Aiken.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers everyone! I really don't have many options just yet.. right now it's all up in the air (figuratively and spiritually)!
